TropiCal Kitchen Slide Issue

Well, one day while pulling in the slide, I heard this crackling noise and saw the bottom expansion piece buckling up under pressure. See attached. I stopped the slide and had to remove the buckled up section in order to bring the slide in. Now when the slide is out, we have a clear view of the cabling and under chassis.

I looked at trying to repair it and with out removing the entire pantry, it is near impossible.

Anyone have this happen to them? Anyone know the best way to repair?

Appreciate any comments. Thank you
