I’m struggling with a new (used) RV. It has trace engineering rc9 remote. I turn it on. Green cones on solid and load goes up to 25% or so and it runs fridge and small heater for maybe 5 or 10 minutes and then cuts off. Why does it not stay on?

Are you sure it is a RC9 and not a RC7? IF IT IS AN RC7 THE GREEN LED IS AN INDICATION THAT YOU ARE INVERTING POWER. NO AC POWER IS GOING TO THE INVERTER / CHARGER.
