Tune Up Ford 460

The old girl ( 1997) Fleetwood Southwind has 36k on her and I believe it will be her first tune up. Runs great, maintained, oil, tranny etc. Anyone have suggestions for plugs, wires etc or anything else?

At 36 thousand I would think a tune up would not be necessary. Especially if the engine is running smooth

Check the owners manual for the required service on the engine. One big problem is the heat and the plug wires. I would replace them with a premium set of wires as the OEMs do not hold up long term. Change the plugs based on the owners manual.


Change the filters and fluids.
