Turn Signal Problem

The Turn Signals on my 2004 Allegro Bus stopped working. I have no indicator signals at all. The emergency warning lights work but blink rapidly and not as they should. I can't find a fuse that might have blown but have located what looks like a turn signal blinker controller beneath the dash. Has anyone else had a problem such as this and how was it solved. I'm at Lake Okeechobee, FL and not close to a Freightliner repair facility.

First, I don't own an Allegro Bus. Perhaps its the turn signal relay that has/is failed/failing? Replacing it could solve your problem. It should/may be under dash by the fuel and brake peddle. And, there may be two or more flasher relays. If so, replacing it/them with a heavy duty flasher could solve your problem.

Freightliner could tell you the model number to help in locating one at an auto parts store nearby. (1-800-FTL-HELP)

Hope that helps!
