Turn signal switch

2005 Monaco safari turn switch gone bad ? I have checked for a short everywhere. Over the last 72 hrs I have had left only , right only , & 4 ways only. Currently left only. Put on right or 4 ways & fuses blow. I will spend $ 300 for switch gladly if needed , but a waste if not the root cause. Help.

I very much doubt that it is the switch.

Do you have a trailer connector?
Disassemble that first, they are the cause of the problem due to chafe and wear. Leave it disassembled (unless the cause is obvious) and try the lights again.
If that didn't get it, disassemble the right side rear first and then the front. For reasons I don't understand, the rear is more trouble.

I had similar problems when we bought our MH in 2012. I bought a can of plastic-safe contact cleaner and sprayed a little into where the turn signal stalk disappeared into the steering column while working the lever. I got some improvement after a few days, but not everything worked yet so I repeated the process. Now the only problem is, when I use the right signal it kicks off the cruise control. Which reminds me to repeat the contact cleaner thing again now.
Some designs have a "wheel' in there that comes loose, remove the steering column covers and if you see the "wheel", tighten the holding screws if it's loose.

Checked trailer tow 7 pin , no damage , but by wiggling : caused fuse to blow. Haleluya! I cut the brown wire & low and behold , have had left, right & 4 ways working for 48 hr now , used 6 times 20 flashes each !! Going to TSC today to buy 7 pin MH connector.
