TV cabinet frame fell off with tv
We have an lcd tv in our bedroom which is attached with a large bracket nailed to the outside frame of the cabinet a smaller tv was in. All was great for two years. While going down Ca 395, on the way to Pismo Beach last week, I heard a small noise in the bedroom. Imagine my horror when I saw the frame and the tv laying in between the bed and the closet. On closer inspection, the frame was on with staples and a little bit of glue. When the tv fell, it pulled the coax on the tv pc board right out, tv toast, doesn't pay to fix. So we went to Walmart and bought an led tv with weighs a tiny bit and put it on top of our dresser while the cabinet gets fixed. Turns out we love where it is, right directly in front of the bed and easier to see than in the upper corner. The long coax and electrical cord will enable us to place the tv on the bed while we are traveling, no more worries. We will fix the frame of the cabinet and use it for extra storage. No more problems. The horrible bumpy roads do a job on the rv. All three of our crown moldings fell down, also in with a dab of glue and staples. We put them back up the right way and no more problems.
