TVs quit working and not sure why

A month ago our main tv in our 2010 bay star kept shutting off while watching would turn it right back on but got annoying.Im not sure if it was original but it was a sumsung 32 inch.Anyway bought a new vizio to replace it,watched it maybe 5 times, Now it wont turn on, so I have to return this one.
Can there be a problem im not aware of outlet seems fine, everything else in front of couch works. Am i just having bad luck with the these tvs or can it be something else thats effecting the electronics of them

Hooked to shore power only? Running off a MSW inverter most of the time?

Usually the TV's mounted in the front of the coach are plugged into an outlet that is controlled by an ignition interlock to prevent watching when driving. You might check the outlet itself and make sure it is not dropping out.

First step is to plug the tv t another outlet (use an extension cord if need be) to determine if its the tv or the power. Be aware of the ignition interlock that Jim J mentioned - the outlet probably won't have power if key on or perhaps if transmission in Drive.
