Two Genny's?
I passed a large three axle class A MH yesterday and noticed it had two small exhaust pipes sticking out. One was in front of the steer axle, the second was mid point of the coach. Both appeared identical with the same chrome turn-down tip.
We have a custom coach builder in my town that does high end builds on Prevost busses and I've seen some of them have 5 A/C units. I've wondered what size genny it takes to run a coach with 5 units.
Are they putting more than one generator on the big units now?

The second was probably the Aqua-Hot exhaust.

I have never seen more than 4 a/c units on an RV of any type. The last time I looked at one of the mega-mansion motorhomes it had a 12.5 KW generator.

The big custom tour buses my have 5 AC units. They could install a 20KW generator which would easily carry that load.

What Sweetbriar said... probably Aqua-Hot exhaust. I have 2 small exhaust pipes on mine as well... The one in front of the driver's side tire is the genny exhaust. The other exits at the rear of the coach, and is my Aqua-Hot exhaust...

Had the exact question last weekend when out camping. The second small exhaust is likely the AquaHot as previously stated.

Almost all Newells for the last 20 years have a 20 kw generator and many Prevost conversions also have them.

Most if not all your 20KW genny's are found in your custom made coaches. Your bigger "mass produced" coaches like the King Aire, Zephyr, American Eagle, cornerstone, come with gennys that are (around) 12.5Kw.

I saw a piece once on one of Willie Nelson’s tour buses. It had two generators. Not to provide additional power, but redundancy. Same reason the many tour buses have five rooftop units. No one wants to deal with lack of AC while on tour.
