I did dig deeper into my documents. There is warranty coverage that states they will repair or replace a damaged wheel if it blew out under normal street or highwary conditions. There are 15 line items after that clause showing exclusions and if it was caused by a pot hole, you're out of luck. You may have overlapping coverage on a new tire if you purchased additional roadside policies. Did anyone provide you with the warranty documents for Tyron?

Run a search for irv2.com threads concerning Tyron band products. Many tire shops will not mess with them. And yes, IMO you were taken to the cleaners.

I would definitely consult a local attorney! I be you can find someone who will take the case at not cost to you, getting a percentage of what he gets out of the dealer. Sounds like a slam/dunk to me. I would consult with more than one attorney! I would also turn in the dealer to the local Better Business Bureau.
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

I have never messed with the BBB. They charge a fee to business's to be a member. They only rate members, see where I'm going with this? https://www.bbb.org/overview-of-bbb-ratings
IMO it is better to contact the state Attorney General office and file a complaint.

At the time of purchase we paid $2000 for Tyron Bands to be installed on the front wheels (to prevent a tire from shredding and coming off the Rim). I spoke with the previous owner and he stated that he had paid $2000 to put the Tyron Bands on and said he bought the Motorhome new and the Bands were on from day one of his ownership. I visited the dealer thinking it was an innocent mistake to charge us for something the Motorhome was already equipped with. The manager got hostile saying I was accusing him and his dealership of being dishonest. He stated that we were charged the $2000 because the warranty for the Tyron Bands that were already on the vehicle was transferred to my wife and I and that they have a cost associated with that. I explained that I was told that it was an option at the time of purchase and we didn't have to proceed with the Bands. So, long story-short, the original owner paid $2000 and we paid $2000 so the dealership has $4000 in revenue off the same Tyron Bands. When I questioned the manager on this, he told me to get an attorney and tried to throw me out of his office. Needless to say I got nowhere with the discussion and left. I feel frauded and not sure what to do. Is this standard practice with these bands? The dealership gets to keep charging $2000 for each new owner for the same Bands just because they transfer the warranty. Has anyone experienced this or have any thoughts? Thanks

Just chalk it up to experience and never do business with that dealer again. Ensure anyone you know who maybe planning to visit this dealer is warned.

What a shame this dealer is still in business. Word of mouth of the truth, goes a long way.
I got lucky, I didn't know I had Tyron bands till I replaced the tires, Neither I or the tire shop knew what they were. They were able to get them off with hand tools. I then Googled for more info.

Doesn't make a lot of difference as most RV dealers are sketchy. I even went to Dallas to look at a Prevost. That dealer was a big joke. His method of honesty was answer no questions and let you do your own looking.
Never sign anything until all agree on price and options.
