Unknown Item?

Can someone please tell me what the purpose of this gizmo is? It is on top of the coach about 2 feet from the door opening. Click image for larger version

I believe your looking at a air horn, looks like the second horn has parted company with the motorhome.

A guess would be that it is an XM/Sirius radio antenna whether you have one or not.

Or maybe a GPS external antenna.

That CE marking is required for electrical or electronic equipment sold in the EU so it likely is or was an antenna.

Since I have GPS and Sirius radio, I decided to leave it alone but clean up the caulk job. I guess I will know if it works next time out. Thanks all!

That's definitely a satellite antenna, either for an in dash radio with GPS or Sirius/XM unit.

My guess is also a GPS antenna, back around the time your coach was built GPS receivers were not as sensitive as they are today, so many / most in dash mounted GPS units needed an external antenna to get solid signal as they could not hear the signal through the dash.
