Upgrade for the old girl.

I know there have been a lot of threads on upgrading your furniture but it's human nature to share so here it is. We love our MH but the sleeper couch is ridiculously uncomfortable. It hasn't been a big issue until we went south for 5 weeks to get away from the Michigan winter for a while. We were in the MH for a long time and we just couldn't stand sitting on the couch. Came home and started searching for a replacement. Living only an hour from the RV Capital (Elkhart Indiana) we can drive to check out how each piece is. Settled on a dual recliner loveseat and also a reclining chair. Very nice! Before and after below. Grandkids will have to sleep in recliners now.

That certainly looks more comfortable and looks like it was made for that spot

Very nice upgrades.

The furniture layout in our rig is very similar in the living area.

We upgraded to a dual recliner loveseat where you did.....our spacing just doesn’t allow for the console in between the seats. The OEM seat behind the passenger seat was useless. We didn’t like the fixed position. We removed it completely and replaced it with a studio chair and footstool that we can reposition wherever we want.

Sofa beds are notoriously poor comfort for both functions.

Good job.

It is SOOOOOO much more comfortable. Night and day. I did have to remove the side valences from the window so the recliners would go back but a small sacrifice for comfort.

We did something similar but used two Fjord recliners whether couch was and removed the recliner near the door and put the dog bed there.

You're next step will be to relocate the LED TV so you don't require a full time chiropractor on staff to watch TV.

Good looking upgrade. We actually picked the floorplan on our new coach because of the recliner.

Looks so comfy. How is it for viewing the over-the-dash TV? Do you still have to crane your necks since the unit is still perpendicular to the TV?

Got them from a place called Recpro. It's in Bristol. They have a warehouse but not really a store front. You can go there still and check out the furniture in person. They have a website if you want to check it out.

We haven't been camping yet to try it out. I did sit in both seats and it didn't seem too bad.

We replaced our sleeper with 2 recliners and replaced the single chair with a electric fireplace and 32" led TV. Love having the TV right across from the recliners.

I looked at doing the same with a fireplace and TV but I can’t fit a very wide TV because of the passenger seat and door location.

Any photos of your installation?

PERFECT!

AND...I love your thinking too. Let's see.....hum, I think your conversation went something like this...

Hey honey look, I just found this recliner love seat set that will fit perfectly. What do ya think?

Ooooh I like that and we'll be able to recline. Oh wow, these are comfortable and easier to clean too.

But where will the grand kids sleep when they come over? We'll lose the pull out bed.

They're hardly here. We're here all the time. They'll adapt.

Yeah they'll adapt.

OK.

Again, PERFECT!
