OK Now I get it. Rear axle(s)only with the parking brake. So my original suggestion would be valid. The instructor could have meant for more control on snow. Except as I follow the thread he did admit that it was an oversight not a lesson in hazardis braking techniques.

OH WELL, NEVERMIND!
