Used 2005 Scottsdale Questions

I am considering buy a 2005 Scottsdale and after my initial inspection I now have three concerns, you insight is appreciated. 1. The 2 door headers between the living area and bedroom are to low, does removing them present any structural issues? 2. The paint overall looks good but the striping/designs on the exterior are beginning to fray around the edges, is there any way to repair or slow the aging process? 3. The 4.5 Onan gen would not restart after being shut down as part of my inspection, is this a problem area for this make or model?
Thanks

The two headers are holding the track for sliding pocket doors plus have wood stud for that wall along ceiling.
The Gen may not have been run enough and may need some routine maintenance.
The strips you maybe able to cut off the edge with sharp blade but be tender with cut. They will fad and discolor over time.
