Used Monaco NADA values

I'm looking for a used class A gasser.
I noticed that the 2000-2005 Monaco's have a low nada value compared to other makes, similar vehicles.
With the Monaco retail values being at least half of the other makes.
Anyone notice and care to comment?
I'm looking at 2002 Monaco LaPalma class A gasser 37 foot.
Thanks!

from WA State!

As to your question I have no answer, but NADA is not based on selling prices, just their estimate of what it should sell for. You need to check some of the dealer websites and see what theirs have sold for.

That doesn't sound right, when I was looking for a diesel pusher last year, Newmar, Tiffin and Monaco all were running close in price. I just looked these very similar RVs up on NADA RV and they track pretty closely.

2003 Allegro
M-35DA Workhorse

Suggested List Price $94,164
Low Retail $20,550
Average Retail $24,750

2003 Holiday Rambler
Admiral SE Series M-34SBD Workhorse

Suggested List Price $98,487
Low Retail $19,700
Average Retail $23,750

NADA Doesn't show a '37 foot La Palma in 2002.

These are the only La Palma models listed by Monaco for 2002.

I think I see what you are saying now. For some reason the La Palma is much lower than other contemporaries. It's not all Monaco brands. I have no idea since NADA isn't based on sales, but average depreciation tables.

However if you look at RV trader they are listed around twice what NADA says they are worth.

NADA

2002 Monaco
La Palma Series M-36WDD Workhorse

Suggested List Price $101,094
Low Retail $12,570
Average Retail $15,150

RV Trader listing

2002 Monaco LA PALMA 36PED $29,860
2001 Monaco LA PALMA 36DBD $27,950
2003 Monaco La Palma 36DBD $27,988

The seller said it was 37' feet but I looked up this:

2002 Monaco
La Palma Series M-36PED Workhorse
ValuesPrint
Suggested
List Price Low
Retail Average
Retail
Base Price $101,094 $12,570 $15,150
Options: (add)
TOTAL PRICE: $101,094 $12,570 $15,150

This shows a huge difference in the original msrp and current retail.
I did not enter mileage (60k) or check any options.I don't expect to buy at the nada values but curious why the values are so low.Dealers are asking mid 30's to high 30's.
Thanks to all who replied and so quickly! This site is such a great resource.
Still reading and learning from all the info presented here.
