Well I've been reading about this and it finally happened to me,lost my first spark plug,luckily it happened near a parts store where the replacement plug had twice the thead as the stock one,replaced it and continued anothe 700 miles without a problem ,i will wait till i get back home to replace the rest ,mh has 72 k miles on it

Twice the thread? Is it the correct plug? If you installed a longer reach plug, it will protrude into the combustion chamber - that's not a good thing.
