Vacuum pump

I have a new Holiday Rambler with a vacuum pump for the toilets, I need to know if anyone knows how to insulate the pump so it doesn't make so much noise. I can hear the pump running about two places from our rig. Thanks

The make & model of the toilet would help! Did you Google "RV toilet vacuum pump" here on IRV2??? There appears to be lots of discussion...

Our traveling friends have a Fleetwood with a vacuum toilet and had the same noise problem. He wound up putting a rubber pad under the pump assembly, then wrapping the entire pump in insulating blanket material. Now you can barely hear it running.
