Valve extension for inner tires

Hello;

Our coach came with valve extensions and pressure monitors. Still I find I have problems with the extensions coming off with the pressure sensor and I also find I have problems at times getting them to function.

Is this a common problem? Is there an easy fix? Better/different extensions?

Tom

Valve extension for inner tires

Dually valve stems solve the problem as they are brass, but the tires have to come off the wheels to be installed. I was charged two hours labor for that in addition to the valve stems.

Get the one piece valves. They are worth it! You can find them here:

Valve extension for inner tires

2x on the Dually. And when they have the wheels apart, add in balancing beads.

Thank you folks!

I figured there was something better out there but did not know that for sure or where to look.

Gives me something to get done in the next few weeks.

Make sure they have long enough ones for your tires. I didn't find out that the ones they were putting on only reached to about an inch INSIDE the outer wheel until they had already broken down one tire. I went ahead with it at that point since it was an improvement over what I had and they were able to line it up so you could reach it through one of the outer holes. But it sure would be better to have them extend all the way out.
