Glad you made it OK.
For any of you who have driven to the top of Pike's Peak, you'll relate to this one. I was nearly to the top in a rented Ford Taurus. The narrow road snakes up the side and the 180 degree turns are extremely tight and on the inside corner, extremely steep. In many places, you cannot see what's coming down when you're at the curve going up. Well, I am just climbing and turning on one of those 180's and here comes a car down and he's on my side (was probably afraid of the 1000 ft drop off the other side
) He got around me as I had to stop...then the car had no power left at the altitude to get going again! Then it hit me the AC was still on. Shut it down and the car had just enough umpf to get going again. Whew! And to think they race semi tractors up that thing!
