Video link - what you should know before buying a Class A diesel

This is pretty good video from CAT diesel mechanic explaining the costs (and what to expect) when considering buying a diesel RV. Also a little discussion on extended warranties.

It's all true and little disappointing to hear - but I'm still glad I bought one and would do so again.

For your enjoyment ...

Thank you for sharing. I would also like to strongly suggest that you go to rv.org. Pay what they are asking and read all the material. The more you know about RV's and picking one that will fit your expected use rather than one with all the latest wizbang stuff the better off you will be. They also have an excellent rating chart for evaluating your rv choices.
I'm on limited data plan so I don't watch movies but in 8.5 yrs of most timing (10-11 months/yr) I have found that there's one unmutable truth. If you're still RVing you're just between breakdowns. Maintenance helps a lot but old coach or new coach stuff breaks.
Good Luck and Happy Hunting

I bought that RV Ratings Guide guide before buying my coach - but in all honesty I don't think it was very good. I wouldn't recommend it. But it doesn't cost that much in comparison to buying a coach. Just another tool in the arsenal I suppose.

You're right about your last comment.

Why do so many sites post videos of nothing more than a head lecturing you. I can read far faster than I can load a video and wait for the presenter to get to any salient data.

I'd rather have the text version... and save my data minutes.
