Unhappy Vinyl front mask for 2001 HR Imperial

I have been trying to find a manufacturer of a vinyl mask for my above motorhome. Looked on many sites and have not been able to find my pattern. Any ideas on who might have one? Tired of looking at the defective 3M clear shield, tried to take it off with 3 or 4 different ways but have given up.

You may find it necessary to have it custom made. I had the same problem back in 2003 when I bought a Rexhall Roseair. Found a guy who worked as an auto upholsterer during the day for the same shop that was upholstering cars for Boyd Coddington and moonlighted on the weekends. Back then, he charged me $450.00

I suggest you have a custom screen made for the front like a fancy bug screen, out of the same material as outside snap on window screens. It will breathe and not trap moisture. I suspect that an RV sun screen company can do it for a lot less than a vinyl cover.

Call these guys, they are good. Kool RV Sunscreens. You won't find this type of screen on their site, but I am pretty sure they can make one for you. They have done work for me, windows and tire screens.

Vinyl front mask for 2001 HR Imperial

Take a trip down to Lazydays Campground in Sefner, Florida. They have a guy onsite that will come and make and install a full leather bra on your coach.

After having a vinyl mask ruin the paint on the front of a new Toyata Van, I don't care for them much.

That being said here is a site for an outfit that makes them:

Gramps maybe I have been lucky but have used mine since I purchased my coach at Lazydays in 2001. Have no damage. 16 years and 85,000 miles up and down the road.

I suspect that leather is a lot better than vinyl.

I suspect they are made of heavy duty vinyl and not leather... I've been looking for one for my rig for a couple of years but no one has a pattern for an 08 and later HR Endeavor. I have never heard of one being made from leather. Doesn't seem like it would hold up to weather very well.

I have one for a 1996 Navigator if anyone is interested. I don't use it. Just haul it around.

You are probably correct on the heavy vinyl Sheriffbubba
