Wabco System saver replacement.

I have a Wabco system saver air dryer Part # 4324103310. This looks to be a pretty common Wabco system for RVs. My old coach had a Haldex dryer. New coach is 2006 Dynasty. I am just catching up on all the filters to know where I am at. It would appear that the PO did not service the air dryer well. I have water in the main/large air line. I was unable to remove the filter. Monaco put this in a very difficult spot to service. I have the entire unit removed from the coach now.

I think I will replace the entire unit due to age and possible neglect.

Has anyone replaced with the lower cost copy of the unit? I am not a big fan of cheap import stuff but in some cases it is fine. Someone who runs a truck fleet would know I am sure. Thanks for any real world actual experience input.

Long extensions with a strap wrench and a 3 foot breaker bar. It will come off. ZF , a German company bought wabco. Their quality will probably remain.Haldex is also pretty high quality. They were in an aquisition last I read.

My Webco-Meritor system saver 1200 had never been serviced when we bought this MH. I bought a rebuild kit, did the rebuild, and it's performed great ever since.
My only problem is the mounting location does not permit replacing the desiccant filter. I must loosen the air lines, remove 2 of the 3 mounting bolts and rotate the unit sideways.

You said you found water in the air storage tanks and lines. Hopefully water has not gotten into the air brake system too. There is a ping tank for the rear air springs that must be manually drained on my Spartan chassis. It has a radiator petcock instead of standard moisture drain.

Can you advise where you found the proper kit? Thanks

https://www.anythingtruck.com/catego...ts-ss1200.html is a good online resource. Also: http://www.newtruckspring.com/wholes...ritor-r950013/
I bought mine locally from a local HDT repair shop.
