Wacko RV A/C Silencer
Hello, I am looking at maybe installing a Wacko RV A/C silencer in my motorhome. Was wondering if anyone has installed one or two of these products and what you think of them. Thanks..

No, however a friend installed the Kool RV product in his fifth wheel and said it made a dramatic effect in the cooling and noise. If you have ducted air conditioners, where the air comes out of ceiling vents instead of just the A/C itself, check it out.
Wacko is essentially a deflector to point the air toward the ducts. Kool RV actually takes all of the air leaving the blower and sends it directly into the ducts. See: https://koolrv.com/

I have the Wackoo installed on both airs. It made a huge difference in noise and does direct all air flow into the ducts

Same here except we have one AC. We can have a conversation or listen to the TV now without turning the volume up.

Wacko
We have had the Wacko air silencer for 2 years now. Our air conditioner in our living room was SO loud, we had to keep turning the volume up on the TV. Installed the Wacko, problem solved.
We saw the representative at the Tampa RV show and thanked him for an Awesome product

No. Being cheap, I made my own air duct re-director/silencer for my Mach 10 and Mach 15 AC's using aluminum roof flashing and HVAC tape -- about $20 total. Took about an hour to make once I made the plan and another hour or less to install both. Works great! A lot more cold air and it reduces the sound output by several Db as well! Only downside is losing the "chillgrill" -- but with more air coming out, it's not missed. See photo attached for the plan, build, and install.

Yes, I bought one about two years ago for my front air conditioner and self-installed it. It does an excellent job of making the unit quieter. Since it "passed the test," I bought a second RV A/C Silencer last week for the rear unit. The price is about $210, and it took me less than a half-hour to install.

I am in the other camp I guess. I bought them for my first coach. I think they are over priced for what they are and I could not really tell they help much on the noise..
