I agree the other posts regaarding adding fuel based on a 5 to 6 hour run. You don't want to get trapped in an unexpected traffic snarl where you are stuck for hours and not moving in 90 degree tempatures and have to shut off the generator because you have less than 1/4 of a tank, as example. We always keep our water, fuel above 1/2 of a tank and dump tank empty when ever possible. Also we try to develop good habits. One example is to always use jack pads even on flat and level ground. Why you say?, because it develops a repetative good habit. Regarding the slides, I have the Good Sam Full Coach Insurance for a reason. That reason is "piece of mind".
