Warranty replacement for Shurflo 5.7 Smart Sensor pump

Has anyone had to replace their Shurflo Smart Sensor 5.7 water pump under warranty lately? I have a 2 yr old one that has leaked water from the head of the pump ever since I replaced the previous one but kept thinking maybe just needed some seals to seat in and the leak would stop, but no such luck.
Since Shurflo no longer markets this particular pump (they didn't even ask for the old one back for this last replacement - I've had either 4 or 5 replacements in the last 10 years) I was wondering which one of the 4000 series pumps they were using to warrant any bad 5.7 pumps.
Has anyone received one of the 4000 series pumps for a warranty replacement? Since the 5.7 sold for over $200 I was wondering if they would try to shove off one of the cheaper 4000 series that sells for around $100.
I'm trying to decide whether or not to try for another replacement (getting a little frustrating changing all these pumps but guess I shouldn't complain since they are free) or just keep a pan under the head of my pump and empty it every day or two.
Any experience here?
