We have had both the Ariston Stackables, and now the Splendid Combo. DW does not like the combo for reasons stated about wrinkling. We basically use it in an "emergency" for her delicates. It takes a long time to wash and dry in the combo.
Consider this, with a combo, when you are washing you cannot be drying, so the load times are much longer. If you have the stackable you can wash and dry at the same time. Load times diminish. I have heard that if you have a combo, and wash every day, it is not so bad. Personally, we go to a city laundry mart and do several loads at one time. DW is the one that wanted the washer/dryer, but she now prefers the stackable over the combo.

Edited: Oh! I have friends that have put stick house washer and dryers in their RV. Some even wired the RV dryer for 220 volts. Drys a lot quicker than 120V. Measure twice, install once.
