Washer/Dryer Combo Winterizing

What do I need to do to winterize a washer/dryer combo.

I have every thin else done, but then realized I forgot the Washer/Dryer.

Checked the manual for the MH and the w/d but no mention of winterizing.

Thanks

John

You must winterize the washer/dryer. Owners manual should have
the procedure. It involves starting the wash cycle on cold, and
letting antifreeze flow until you see it coming into the drum.
Then run a pump out cycle till all the antifreeze has been
pumped out. Then start another wash cycle on hot and
repeat the process. This will ensure antifreeze has gotten
into all the components of the machine, and the drain trap
as well. In the spring, run a regular wash cycle with a little
detergent and no clothes to clean out the machine.

Get the official winterizing info from the Splendide site - it's in the Consumer Tips - Maintenance section. Almost at the bottom of the page, so scroll way down.

I used to pump the RV anti freeze through it as noted above. Then I moved the RV to inside storage with very reliable power...so I put a trouble light in the tub with a 60 watt light on.
