Cost to wash- 100-150 bucks for some one to be on site with their water. Much less for DIY.
Biggest problem you will find MOST RV PARKS WILL NOT LET YOU WASH YOUR COACH!

I've seen dark roofs and even more common - dark ac/hp shrouds on older models. Newmars are all white now AFAIK

I use Blue Beacon as I keep the Coach in a storage lot. I have the normal wash along with the Rain-X spray option. Seems to eliminate most spotting as well but we usually get back on the highway afterwords it does get a decent air dry as well. I have always found that they are careful with the RV and the job is better than I could have done. Last done in July and the cost was $42.60 but have paid up to $55. so definitely can't complain about the cost.

I have been hearing about wash wax all for several years .. but I guess fell in to the "too good to be true" camp. After reading here, I will need to try. Per the OP's question it sounds quite affordable. On my 5500 mile run last summer through the SW my rig got very dusty. Very convenient to jump in to a blue beacon truck wash. Ditto on the @ $40 cost. Friendly folks, fast workers, easy on MY back 😀. Maybe some of the equation is whether you are "on the road" or mostly stationary? That is not strictly a cost issue, but I would think would need to figure in somehow...

I'm leaning towards the Wash Wax All option with occasional trips to the truck wash. Strikes me as a good balance between costs/effort/time. I really don't see myself waxing an RV by hand. Perhaps I'm just getting lazy in my old age.

I wash our coach after every trip. Adds up to about 10 to 15 times a year. I use a RV wash and wax purchased from WalMart. A long pole brush and a pressure washer are the tools of choice. I have a supply of rain water, spotting is not a problem. RainX used on the windshield only. Takes about 1 hour to complete the job. We have indoor storage.
In April and November, I do have a mobile wash service come to our camp site at Texas Motor Speedway. I do this so I can have the roof washed twice a year.

Hey Vinster30, You can get someone to come out for just the roof? What do they charge?
I plan to wash and wax my own Coach but don't want to climb up and tackle the roof!!!
