Watch Shipping

Hi,
Can any of our knowledgeable members advise of an RV park, big rig friendly where a guy can watch shipping and boat activity along the coast from north of LA in California to Oregon, or Washington coast?
Don’t need to play in the water, just like to watch the activity.
Thanks

I came across Bodega Bay last year. North of san Francisco. Not big enough for ships but smaller fishing vessels.

Pacific Shores Motorcoach Resort just North of Newport Oregon has some spots overlooking the ocean.

I would like to suggest a stay a Warrenton, Oregon KOA. A short 10-15 minute drive will take you to Astoria Oregon at the mouth of the grand Columbia River where many many ships wait to traverse the Columbia bar.

We stay at Pacific shores for about a month ( Sept-Oct ) and only see a few cargo ships and they are all on the horizon. It's a great place but not for watching shipping

Columbia Riverfront RV Park This park is on the Columbia River between Astoria and Portland.
