Water filter system

I have a dual premier filter set on my coach.(they are in the main water line bay under the coach not under the sink.) P 2-4 coach looks like the part number. I called premier listened on hold for 20 minutes finally left a message two days later no call back.

Two questions.#1 can anyone tell me what filters they use? I was calling the company to ask about this and they do not respond.

#2 General question.

If i drain my fresh water and hot water tank in between trips to keep from getting the bad smell I would obviously need to remove the filter canisters and drain them also? Seems like a bit of a pain to do that every outing. They are in a bad spot I think, right next to my power inverter.

Has anyone put remote drains on the filter canisters? still wonder then about the filters themselves getting smelly. They are not going to dry out fast enough so I am not sure what I should do with those.

Can't help on filters other than to take to a Home Depot or Walmart and see if you can find the correct one.
The draining is a pain but I do both the tank and heater just as soon as I hit home after a trip. I also pull the filter and leave the canister cover off and the filter next to it to dry out. I'm replacing the filter with a DIY de ionization system with info on links at iRV2. Search for deionization and you can find all the info. The water is so clean on the system I use to wash my RV I wanted it for all the water. $50 cost.

These are standard 10" filters. Typical setup calls for a sediment filter in the first canister and a carbon filter in the 2nd. Can buy here:
