Water Heater new to me

Just bought a 2011 Itasca. Took it for a shake down this weekend. Opened prv on wh and dirty water initially came out then cleared but when I closed valve water continued to pour out. wh worked all weekend but continued to fast drip. Upon disconnecting to leave camp hot water drained from inlet valve. We have another trip planned this coming weekend. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Congrats on the new rig! It sounds like the pressure relief valve is defective if it continued to leak after closing it. Keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
