Water leak sound - Grey Tank

Hi :
I am James and a newbe....I have a situation that is not solved yet. When using the shower or sink(s) a noticeable dripping sound will happen while running the water into the grey tank. The drain valve is in the closed position. I do not hear it when the drain valve is open. This started a couple of weeks ago.
I bought the MH for 5 months ago and parked it at an RV resort. My wife and I live it for now preparing to hit the road next spring.
There are no noticeable leaks when I look underneath the rig. With the drain valve closed the gauge inside will show 1/3 - 2/3 full etc.
I have a Fleetwood Pace Arrow LXE 38K -2020. I'm head scratching and worried.
I have done nothing to the grey tank except empty when needed.

Thanks in advance
James

Gauges are known not to be accurate. Some have a small hole near the gauge readout and can be adjusted as needed.

As for dripping sound, when you hear it do you see water in the basement or beneath the shower? I'd look for water to determine if it is in the drain or the supply lines.
