I have a 65 psi MAX sticker in my wet bay, i imagine most are the same. I use a 50-55 psi regulator. The 40 seems too low. Realistically we all should have the dial guage adjustable one.

I had added a water pressure gauge T'd into the cold water line after where the pump and city water feeds join. The gauge itself is placed near the display for the EMS, electrical protection system, is located. This way I can check both water pressure and power at the same time. As posted above I have a built in Watts pressure regulator. I got a couple of 300 PSI drinking water hoses for the exterior connection. Don't worry at all about high pressure and have good flow volume.
