water pressure

Hello everyone, well I pulled the rig out to de-winterize it. leaving on a trip tomorrow morning. I blew out all the lines when winterized it. poured antifreeze in drains etc.

Today the pump continued to run without shutting off, I found a cracked housing on the water filter, so I eliminated that. still ran, I realized the rig was leaning slightly to one side, so I thought air lock. well that was it, the pump pressurized and would shut off. the problem is, I have just just a dribble at the kitchen sink, all other outlets are working. I can't see any leaks.

any ideas, I am trying to leave in the morning.

Thanks,

My coach a valve for the bathrooms (bath and a half) and one for the kitchen sink. Maybe you have something similar. Possibly closed or at least not fully open. Does not take much with a ball valve to greatly reduce flow. If not, I'd see if I could possibly blow air from the kitchen sink back to the control area. Could be you got a "critter" in a line. I'd doubt that one would get in at the faucet itself with a screen in the aerator end but maybe where the valve was open? Maybe put something at the valve to catch the obstruction, if it is in fact a bug. My lines are all 1/2" so it would not take much to slow up the flow. Are your lines all PEX? Mine have few elbows but rather are just gently run around corners. That tends to eliminate some of the size reduction at joints/elbows but not all.

Good luck!

Remove kitchen sink faucet aerator and clean it ....blow out line/faucet with aerator removed before installing it

Thanks, it would burst out from the kitchen as though air was trapped or at least trying to pump.

Got up this morning and now the pump continues to run and now the bathroom has the same issue.
I guess i'll see if there is a filter to the back side of the pump, it doesn't appear so though. tough to see it. we will be hooked up, so I'm hoping that will get us through the weekend.

I tried blowing the lines yesterday, but I will try and blow backwards and see what happens. Thanks again.

Hook it to city water supply and see if that corrects your issue, if so I would be suspect of the diaphragm portion of the pump, motor may run and still be good.
Often after winterizing you don't get all of the water out from that area and it freezes causing that issue.
