Water pump not working.
The water pump in our 04 Fleetwood Flair stopped working. Can someone help me find the correct fuse box and fuse? And what other things do I need to check? The pump switch lights up but thats all. Thanks.

I would think if the switch lights up you have power, go to pump to verify you have power. If you do replace pump.

I found the fuse. It looks okay but I replaced it and still no water pump. Any ideas?

Have you checked for power reaching the pump when the switch is on?

These pumps go bad frequently. Simply replace the pump. If you remove it take it to your local RV parts center to match it up.

If the pump is getting power but not operating then it either has a bad pressure switch or is completely shot. Either way you should just outright replace it. They are pretty inexpensive and R&R is very easy. You should have a look at the variable speed pumps, they are really quiet when demand is low - I put one in ours and love it.

You need to isolate the problem, Do you have a voltage meter, if so start at the pump to see if it is getting power.

Assuming you know where it's located, I'd turn it on and give it a good whack. If it starts running, replace it. If not, go with the suggestions for electrical troubleshooting.

I was able to remove the pump. The parts dealer checked and found that it had a bad pressure switch. So I bought a new one. The footprint was the same but I needed longer screws. Its now in place and works. Its also a little quieter. Thanks for the help and encouragement from this group.

Would give you the same advice and that is to match it up at the dealer. Since you have a newer motorhome you might still be able to find an exact match. This would prevent minor alternations.
