tank full when water runs out overflow pipe

tank needs refilling when water pump goes Burrrrrrup

Sorry....I see no sense in spending monies on level gauges that are inaccurate/fail etc
*I haven't looked at my 'gauges' (Water tank, grey/black) since 2008

The go to system is SeeLevel tank monitor. Bu you have to be apply the new evel film on tank and tie those two wires to two wires of each old sensors and abandon the rest of sensor wires.
There are several threads on SeeLevel gauge.

I'm with Old-Biscuit, I don't bother with the unreliable tank indicators.
When we got the motorhome, I thought that those are priority items but soon discovered that there are much more important things to worry about and spend money on a motorhome.
The fresh water level is easy to see by opening the bay door. In our coach the gray and black tanks hold what fresh water is available. If we are hooked to water only with no sewer hookup available it's easy to see the black tank when flushing the toilet and gray tank when the shower no longer drains.
We tent camped for 40 years and multi-day backpacking trips with no water or electricity. So if those luxuries are not available, nothing has changed other than we have a comfy bed to sleep in.

My fresh tank sensors fell off before I bought her BUT the black and grey sensors do work. So if you think about your water use...I have a 105 gal fresh tank and 50 gal ea for the black & grey. You know that grey will fill first - showers, dishwashing, showers, maybe even using the washing machine. You can gauge the amount of fresh water used by looking at the black and grey levels.
