Weak AC unit. Any replacement suggestions?

We have the original 2002 AC units on our MH.

I m thinking of replacing the front one. We rarely use the rear one.

There are so many choices, so I m looking for suggestions. The ones we have now are Dometic's.

The only concern about installation is the electrical plug. Will it match the 2002 existing wiring?

Thanks for your help,eh?

Brad

So, you've done all the maintenance you intend to do. These rv ac units are fitted with such worthless filters that (we should be able to shoot rv suppliers on sight) they are virtually unprotected. They rapidly FILL with dust and booggers and dead bugs and bug poop and ich and filth. If you've not blown it out in a while (or ever) with compressed air do so and see if it's all cool now. You intend to throw the unit away anyway, what you got to lose?

My 2001 rear AC was only blowing room temp air. Took it to be repaired . there was a small crack in the copper line which allowed all the refrigerant to escape. $122 later I'm good to go with 41 degree air from this old unit.

You might consider fixing the old one.
