Auto starting of the generator on my 2010 Tiffin Allegro Bus 43QGP was a problem which cost me hundreds of hours of unnecessary run time. After nearly two years, the service center at King’s Campers in Wausau, Wisconsin, solved the problem.

The original connection from the interior temp thermostat to the generator was picking up RF signals and this would trigger auto starting of the generator. King’s Campers replaced the connection with a coaxial cable, essentially eliminating the “antenna” effect present in the OEM connection. This was completed under warranty.

For Tiffin owners, King’s Campers and the Gajewski family had a very close relationship with Bob Tiffin in those days. It was Bob who referred me to them to get the issue resolved. Adam in service was the genius who solved the problem.

Thank you for that information. I have an appointment to take it for service for several issues the first week of Oct, so I will be sure to mention that as a possibility. You just never know with these things.
