Not your post, yours make sense especially with the fridge.
Tires rubbing, Diesel engine fires are a bit off the charts and all would occur while driving and allow ample time for an escape and to call your insurance company.
I have thousands of miles and 45 years of traveling and have never seen a MH fire, although I did have a friend of mine have his MH burn down due to a broken gasoline line .

I've seen 5 RV fires on the road in my 30 years of driving. All of them in the past 15 years. Didn't stop to find out the cause; fire dept was already on site.

Just another note to all those that think I am a naysayer.
My DW and I have purchased His and Hers Fire Suits and are selling advertising space on the front and back. Don't pass up this opportunity to get your message out there. We will be turning about , displaying your message on both the front and Back all the while, standing beside our blazing MH with traffic down to a crawl.
Maybe Tony " Smoke" Stewart has a fire suit he might not be using that I could pick up on the cheap. !!!!!
