Our coach is not paint but gel coat. The front and rear end and were quite dull with oxidation. The sides were not as bad. The stainless wheels were dull. I had it detailed by professionals. Two guys worked for about 20 hours on it. It looks like brand new now. Cost was $800.00. Very inexpensive for what they did. (They have been doing our airplanes for several years and were short of work.)

We’ve paid up to $10/ft but usually a lot less. We had our 2012 Phaeton waxed and buffed last time. NEVER AGAIN. Have swirl marks we’ll never be able to get rid of short of full coach clay bar. 😳

The last time I paid for a full detail (six months ago), it was $10/Foot for a wash, buff, and wax. The roof was $60 extra and the wheels were $25 each (well worth it for a full polish of the aluminum wheels). The full treatment for my 42' was about $600 + tip

Use truck washes and always have had good results. Cost $40-$50.

Wash

Just washed and detailed my 40 foot 2015 Newmar Ventana. 2.00 for mildew treatment for the roof. $12.00 for Rainx car wash and $29.00 for an in-line water filter to stop water spots. It took about 3 hours and looks brand new. Hate to pay someone for such a simple job.

I loaded the Blue Beacon truck wash app in order to locate them around the country. They are great for a quick wash and spray wax to remove salt if camping by a beach or mud, however they are NOT a detail shop that will remove oxidation (if needed), buff and apply a good quality wax by hand.

$1200 seems very high here in North Louisiana. I do not know what location your referencing. My detail guy does exterior walls, windows tires etc. No buffing in my opinion, desroys the finish. He charges me $200 and takes 4 - 5 hours. After talking to friends and service shops, I decided no one goes on my roof. I clean the roof from a maintenance stand (left over from my airplane days). 40' motorhome.

People is $$$ in their eyes and minds when they see large motorhomes. The best way to combat this is to become a tight wad big time when this happens and don't give in until you find the rock bottom price.

Where in Arizona and we would love the information for the guy that does your detail on your 40 footer. Hard to find somebody here that that does the detailing. We've been looking for someone.

34' I paid $200.00.
Two trucks pulled up at my house about 8 people total. They power washed it roof and all. Then hand washed it. Then waxed and buffed it.

They were in and out within an hour. I thought it was brilliant the way they showed up like an Army of men.

They were all over the coach like ants.
