What bulb in porch light?

I can't do the ladder to change the bulb on the light fixture above the entry door. My son is coming over to give a hand with a few such items. The light fixture is the common one often installed. Anyone know which bulb is likely in it? Would like to have one already on hand when he arrives.

Thx!

Mine takes a 1156, but I replaced it with an LED one. I just lean out the door to replace mine. Squeeze cover top and bottom to remove it.

Personally I would replace it with THIS
and never deal with it again.

Changed it today. Was an 1156, which I did not have as a spare. Rather than try to find one on Christmas day just borrowed one from a backup light of my Jeep, which I can easily replace later due to no ladder activity needed. I will order a LED bulb as the long term solution.

Thanks all for the help and suggestions!

Vince,
I replaced that porch light bulb with a Revolution 200 LED and have been very happy. It is much brighter.
