good topic! I'm learning keeping extra:
1. all engine belts;
2. fuel & oil filters for engine and generator;
3. 1 gallon oil;
4. 5 qts oil for generator;
5. set of wiper blade;
6. extra 20# tank of propane;
7. spark plugs for motor & generator;
8. 5 extra relays for battery control center and generator;
9. several gauges of wire
10. somehow have extra vent with a fan;
11. any sort of fuse that might be needed and a few of the fuse/relays too
12. back up water pump for coach;
13. saves extra 12v battery I just replaced just in case (no core charge);
14. general disaster tapes, patches and sealants;
15. tons of bulbs for chassis lights;
16. various furnace parts;
17. 20,000BTU propane furnace that doesn't use electric;
18. engine alternator;
19: distributor cap;
20: set of plug wires (came with rig so why not)
21: engine thermostat;
22: two gallons pure antifreeze and 5 gallons distilled water for batteries and radiator
off the top of my head that's all I can think of...
