What interior do you prefer?
I have read comments on this forum about some who feel that American RV's look old or dated compared to European RV's.
After looking and looking on-line, I think I have found that there is a difference - I will call it "Ikea" vs. "Ethan Allen"
Both style types are available in RV's from the US and Europe - but there seems to be a preference for the classic styles, textures, and finishes in the US while modern styles are more commen in Europe
So, what do you like better...Ikea or Ethan Allen?
Ikea
Ethan Allen
The pictures above are from 2012 RV's from the German mfgt Ketterer vs. the U.S. mfgt Prevost.

I travel with kids and a dog, so I would pick Ethan Allen. I think the white is more elegant though. Unfortunately, I don't see either one of those coaches in my future until I hit the lottery.

Not being a European, I choose the American (Ethan Allen) design. I like wood finishes a lot -- our house in SC is sheetrock free, every wall, floor, and ceiling are wood. In the US, however, Prevost conversions (Libery, Marathon) and some Newells use a lot of laminate, and make compound curves for a modern look.
Most Americans seem to prefer wood.

TV is way to small in both of them.
And wouldn't want the deco or floor plan in either one.

Ethan Allen is my choice. I like the warm home like feeling style.

Ethan Allen definitely. I love the warmth of the woods and color palette.

Absolutely Ethan Allen for me. Wouldn't even consider the European design.

Ethan Allen here. I'm too old to pilot a space ship.

We have a Newmar Ventana that has lots of wood but none of the foo-foo of the Ethan Allen. Simple straight lines, clean looking and easy to clean. Somewhere between Ikea and Ethan Allen.

Ikea would really show the dirt. I go for Ethan Allen. Traveling with horses and trailriding gets ya plenty dirty.

Ethan Allen for me!
My Sticks 'n Bricks kitchen is very much like what you see in your Ethan Allen pics in your post. (Cherry cabinetry and stainless steel appliances)
