What is the gizmo on these wheels?

I am parked next to a very nice Beaver Patriot with some odd attachment on the wheels. The tube end appears to be attached to the coach.

In all my years of RVing, I have never seen anything like this and cannot figure out what they are.

As I was unable to speak with the owner, I thought I would ask the group.

Looks to me like automatic air filler for the tires, in other words he can air the tires up or down from inside the cab. Central Tire Inflation system, Most military vehicles have these.

Saw them in S America years ago on just about every truck size tire. Work well in warmer climates as we all know the importance of properly inflated tires.

That is a auto tire inflator. In Mexico, they are required on the long haul busses. There is a control unit inside the coach where the operator can monitor the tire pressure real time and see the actual pressures of each tire and either manually adjust pressures or let the system do it.

The name of the system is "Geoset" silent T or something like that.

There was a guy at the Indio FMCA rally that was selling the system but I haven't seen him there in a couple of years

Why not knock on his door and ask him what they are? You sometimes meet some very nice people that way.

The precursor to the Turbo Encabulator is the Rockwell Industries Retro Encabulator.

This is a system to monitor and inflate tires on the go. Used by trucks and busses.

Me thinks you are all off-track. It appears to be a pneumatic vacuum traction system. How else could that motor coach be parked on that vertical wall?
I bet this turbine vacuulater would provide amazing traction in winter road conditions. And when the owner tells you "My tires suck" he will be right on.
