What is this??

Hi all! we are flying from Seattle to Scottsdale, AZ on friday to purchase a new rv (06 Cross Country SE) and after looking at the photos, all appears to be good. BUT after closer examination in the wet bay, where the sewer dumps are, appears to be modified. does anyone know what is done in the image below?? i will include what an unmodified one looks like in another post below. thanks!

update: It appears to be some sort of sanicon macerator pump??

Agreed, the hose looks like mine, can't see enough of the macerator to pin down the manufacturer/model though.

That's a great add on and like a garbage disposal for sewage ...pretty much liquefy it and can be easily dump with a smaller hose. I don't have one on my RV. You can look it up at Camping World. They are costly.
