I carry a regular 8' step ladder that I keep in the large compartment of our FW. I did have to cut 4" off the bottom legs so it just fits, but I like it for cleaning/waxing the high spots.

I carry a 7' GP Logicrics folding ladder and love it.... It folds into a 7' X 4" unit so storing it is a snap....

X2, works great and very convient.

I have a ladder on the rear of my MH for getting on the roof. As others have said, it's a PITA to get on. To solve this problem, I purchased the following:

We carry a 10 or 12 foot collapsible ladder (I forget which length; I think 10 and I wish it was 12). I put a piece of split pipe insulation on the top cross piece and it protects the coach when I lean it against the wall or even windshield. Works great and takes up very little space when collapsed.

Two ladders. First is a three step "kitchen style" that gets a lot of use inside and out. Second that is rarely used, but when I needed it, it was there in the basement;
Cosco 13' Multi-Position Ladder System:
3 positions as a step ladder
6 heights as an extension ladder
3 positions as a stairway ladder
2 heights as a scaffold
2 heights as a wall ladder
Box "I" beam aluminum for strength and stability
Meets ANSI Type 1A extra heavy-duty industrial workload
This 13' ladder has a 300 lb rating

I am carrying the only ladder I own. It's a Little Giant, that when fully extended reaches 22 feet. I know a bit of over kill, but I use it around the condo and I can get on my motorhome roof, without any effort. Stores in the rear basement compartment nicely. [emoji591]🤠

What kind/size of ladder do you carry with you?

I have right here in my hand an official leather bound copy of the RV Rule Book, and it says nothing about ladders— or wash tubs, hay rakes, or even Granny’s rocker, for that matter!

I carry a Werner folding ladder, as shown.Click image for larger version

ID:	199922 16 ft fully extended, 8 ft a-frame step ladder, or any other combo you want. I can reach any part of my sidewall without stretching, and I can safely and securely reach my roof if required.

I carry it folded into a 4 ft unit hanging quite securely- Thank you very much- on my factory installed Dutch Star rear ladder, and I don’t give two whits what Fire Up thinks about that. Folks shouldn’t get too wrapped up in their own sensibilities. Some of us live in buses, some live in trailers. We ARE the Beverly Hillbillies.

I'm surprised with all the folks using ladders to clean windshields that no one has mentioned telescoping handles for windshield washer/squeegees. My wife got me a nice one which I use just about every time we stop for gas. Both feet stay comfortably in contact with the ground. I've also got a long handled wash brush to clean the rest of our mh with.

I just bought the "Little Giant Leveler" model 17. Its relatively light weight, has wheels making it easy to move around, extends to 17', folds to a 7' A frame and, has leveling feet to adjust for uneven ground. It fits nicely in the narrow basement storage area of my Dutch Star 4369 with room to spare. Its a bit pricey at $169 at Lowes but well worth it for added strength and versatility. To protect the paint on the coach, I bought a large swimming noodle at Walmart, cut it in half and split it the length to fit around the ladder frame at the top when using it to get to the roof. My coach does not have an attached ladder.
