What oil did they use???

We purchased a used Fleetwood Southwind. No paperwork or records. How do I go about finding if the previous owner used synthetic or regular engine oil? Does it matter?

Just make sure you do a complete oil change. Don't mix oils.
I recommend Amsoil.
I have mine tested annually- just change the filter.
I
My oil has over 30,000 miles and 12 years without oil change.
I have 2 Amsoil bypass filters in addition to the engine filter.

Wow! That is the longest I've heard other than a tractor that went 25 year on one AMSOIL oil change. Good for you! Thanks for sharing.

unless you need to add oil before the next oil change, dont worry about it. then put in what you want at the change.
