Wheel Simulators (hub caps)

I had 7 new tires installed on my 2005 Southwind (2004 Ford F53 chassis)
. The Tire shop (Vista Tire Xperts, Vista, CA) that installed them either left off the rear hub cap lock nuts or didn't tighten them. The rear wheel simulator (hub cap) came off on my first trip out (less than 100 miles). When I got home, the hub cap was gone. Of course, the tire shop denies responsibility.

Now I can't find a new (or used) one anywhere. I've tried many websites and even eBay.

Does anyone have one or know where I can get one?

They are 19.5", 8-lug rims.

You can buy straight from Dicor:

https://dicorproducts.com/wheel-application-chart/

Looking at your pic it seems like a match. You may find cheaper elsewhere though.

Was it center or as a whole on those. Someone had nearly same post a while back the exact hole shape or count was not available" I don't remember ", but it would be pretty hard to spot that far apart or wandering to other side. The new ones on ebay look pretty much the same.

Thank you for the response. I searched for hours and couldn't find that.

They are pretty proud of that hub cap ($300). I hope that I can find a used one or something. If I've gotta pay $300 for it, that tire shop will see me in Small Claims Court.

Anytime! Our last RV was missing the “star decals” in the center of the hubs on a couple wheels and one of the “locking hub” on mine had lost the decorative cap and was just the nut, I had hunted around to find those and I still had the site saved in my “RV Folder” in my browser.

They certainly don’t give em away, but I will say the service and shipping was very prompt when I bought from them directly. Any chance of the tire shop reimbursing you if you buy? The timing of it disappearing seems pretty suspect. Even if they would split with you better then nothing. (If they tell you tough luck I agree, small claims it is!)

eBay Wheel Simulator

Thanks for the responses.

I found one on eBay for $100. I should have it in a couple days. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
