Wheel well insulation

I have insulted the doghouse and now want to add more. Thinking of a spray on insulation, I think it would be easier to apply and keep out a fair amount of heat and road noise. Any thoughts??

On my tablet does not show yr or make of your rv... and what type of spray foam you talking about ? Then inside rv on wheel well or outside ? Now I used aluminized sounds deader inside rv over wheels.. but my rv wheels ride close to wheel wells.. so I don't trust anything that could work loose and fall onto road or damage tires.. so I have to be content on using inside over wheels.. this is where I like 300mm plus size stuff.. as long as not interfere with the pedals..
I use spray foam inside around. Plumbing and electrical holes.. look around back of refrigerator.. use cellphone with flash on and record all over inside vents.. If yours is like mine.. you may find.. where they slide the refrigerator in.. they don't even bother with sealing around it.. so Hugh air gap..
Good luck and keep us posted

What we have is a 2012 Newmar Canyon Star 3856. I am not going to spray on the top of the wheel wells--- pulling the carpet and having to reinstall. Not this time. Just want something I can spray from the outside of the coach to help with sound and heat. Jack the coach as high as possible, lay on the ground and spray up. Soungs easy???

Tiffin does use a spray foam inside the generator area and around the wheel wells. It is a hard foam after curing. Probably closed cell. Just not sure where you would get something like that.

Maybe this place.

I have decided on Sound Engineerings 050220 sound Mat Spray. 20 oz Spray can that costs $40.00 for 3 on Amazon. Sounds easy to apply and will help with road noise and heat. I like this because nothing else is needed-- no compressor or spray gun. I'll post after its applied and I've driven on the freeway.
