Where to get weighed

Any suggestions on how to find a place to have our Southwind weighed?

Here in the midwest find a truck stop that has a "Cat Scale" advertised. They will be at Pilot, Flying J, or QuickTrip service stations to name a few. You may have some recycle centers that will give you your weights also.

I use a large garden / farm supply. You can even get four corners by doing one side, then turning around to do the other side.

When you pass a commercial scale that says "CLOSED" you can pull in and do your own weighing

I had the WI State Patrol come to my home. They did a six position weight and there was no charge for the service. Told me it was my tax dollars at work. I can manually adjust the tag weights and they did a second weigh to help me get it where I wanted it.

I like to use local companies that have truck scales such as moving companies, feed stores, landscaping stone stores. They are often configured so that 4 corner weighing is easier.

Below is a link to 9 truck stops in your greater area where you can get axle weights.
Dunellen, New Jersey Truck Scales and Weigh Stations for Truck Drivers and Trucking Companies at Truckstops

Google can be your friend for finding locations to weigh.

Contact RV Safety at Weighing Schedule. They will weigh the end of each axle and provide the correct tire pressures based on your weight and tire manufacturers guidelines. Very thorough.
