Which batteries are which?

Our coach has a humongous 12VDC battery in the top rack and four 6VDC batteries in the bottom rack.

I'm pretty sure the large 12VDC battery is the chassis battery and the 6VDC group is the house batteries.

Without me spending time figuring that out with a meter I wanted your input! Thanks!

The one big 12V battery is for your chassis to start the engine etc. The 6V batteries are for your coach to run lights etc.

Mine has 4 925 CCA 12 volt starting batteries and 4 12 volt 8D LifeLine AGM batteries for the house. The manual says it should have 2 8D AGM's for the starting batteries. So somewhere along the assembly line the starting battery spec's changed.

Disconnect a cable on that 12V and then try to start RV

Conventional Wisdom says it will not start

12vdc will be for the chassis. 6vdc will be the house.
